Recently we reported a tie-up between Samsung and Reliance to provide Preview Offer to users of select smartphones. Now, Apple and Reliance Jio are rumoured to have teamed up to give the same freebies to iPhone users. Reliance will be making an official announcement this week.

Apple CEO Tim Cook had a meeting with Reliance Jio officials during his visit to India earlier this year. As of now, Reliance Jio is the only network which provides VoLTE services. Reports suggest that the telecom provider will enter into partnerships with more number of brands.

The upcoming pan India 4G network from Reliance was exclusive to the company’s employees. Then it was extended to users of Lyf smartphones. With announcements of tie-ups with other brands, Reliance is planning to reach out to maximum users before its commercial launch. The launch is expected to take place on 15th August.

The offer will be valid on iPhones with VoLTE support, which include iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone SE. The offer includes free access to VoLTE calling facility, SMS, and Jio Premium services such as JioPlay, JioOnDemand, JioBeats, JioMags, JioXpressNews, JioDrive, JioSecurity, and JioMoney for the first three months.

How to get the Reliance Jio Preview Offer on your iPhone

You have to generate a coupon on the phone (again non-transferable) to get the SIM. Users have to download the MyJio app from App Store. If you are using an eligible device and have inserted a valid sim, you will get a pop-up showing the offer. The app will guide you through the process to register for the offer. To download the app, click on the link given below.

The SIM is available at Reliance Digital or Digital Mini Xpress stores. Address and identity proof are also required, as usual.
