India Film Project, the largest film-making challenge in Asia, is gearing up for the finale of Season 6. The event will take place on Saturday, October 1 at Mumbai.
The novel idea was conceived 6 years ago as the Ahmedabad Film Project to help budding film-makers. Back then, little did the mastermind Ritam Bhatnagar know, that he was heading towards creating a platform which will aspire thousands of people to make their 1st film and hundreds of them in choosing film-making as a career. The event received 86 entries, and it was hugely successful. Consequently, its name was changed to India Film Project.
